Privacy Policy

Marketives ("we", "us") provides the marketing platform at marketives.net. For privacy questions, or to exercise any right described below, contact hello@marketives.net.

Account information. Name, email address, phone number, and the business details you enter — business name, type, location, opening hours, offerings, brand assets and images.

Content you create. Posts, captions, images, videos, campaigns and schedules generated or uploaded in the platform.

Customer records you upload. If you use the CRM, the contact details of your own customers. You are the controller of that data; we process it on your behalf.

Usage data. Sign-in times, pages visited, and errors, used to operate and debug the service.

When you connect Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube or Google Business Profile, you are redirected to that provider to sign in. We never see or store your password for those services. The provider returns an access token, which we store against your business so we can act on your behalf.

From Meta (Facebook and Instagram) we request only what publishing requires:

• pages_show_list — list the Pages you manage, so you can choose which to connect
• pages_manage_posts — publish posts to a Page you selected
• pages_read_engagement — read likes, comments and reach for posts we published
• instagram_basic, instagram_content_publish — identify and publish to the Instagram Business account linked to your Page
• pages_manage_metadata, business_management — subscribe your Page to lead notifications and confirm which business it belongs to

We use this access only to publish content you or your agency team have approved, to report on how that content performed, and to receive leads from ad forms you enable. We do not read your personal profile, your friends, your private messages, or content we did not publish. We do not sell this data, and we do not use it for advertising to you.

You can disconnect a channel at any time from the Channels page, or remove Marketives from your Facebook settings. Either revokes our access immediately and deletes the stored token.

Content generation uses third-party AI providers. Your business profile and the prompt you write are sent to those providers to produce the requested image, video or text. We do not send them your customer records.

Your agency team. If your account is managed by Marketives staff, assigned team members can access your business workspace to do the work you have contracted — creating content, publishing it, and reporting on it. Access is granted per client and can be withdrawn.

Service providers. We use vendors for hosting, database, email, SMS/WhatsApp delivery, payments, AI generation and error monitoring. They process data only to provide those services to us.

We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

We keep your data while your account is active. When an account is closed we delete or anonymise its data within 90 days, except where we must keep records longer for legal or accounting reasons.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Email us and we will respond within the period your law requires (30 days in most cases).

Data is encrypted in transit. Access tokens are stored server-side and are never exposed to the browser. Access to production data is limited to staff who need it.

If we change this policy materially we will update the date above and notify account holders by email.
